This course looks at many different things that relate to environmental issues. We consider biology, ecology, politics, economics, geography . . . many things. And we look at contemporary environmental issues and try to figure out what they are really all about. So, this course is intended to help students become thoughtful and informed citizens who are able to make rational judgments about controversial issues that are key to the survial and prosperity of people on Earth.
